Yummy Yummy @ Tang Palace, Dynasty Hotel

During early August, together with my friends and housemates, we had a dinner in Tang Palace in Dynasty Hotel. That dinner besides being a gathering for all of us, it was also meant as a farewell dinner for my long-time friend (knew his existence since in primary school :P), Wen Fong.

During that time, the restaurant was having an All-You-Can-Eat promotion. We ate around 20 dishes i think. However, we didn't manage to try all the food in the menu as we were too full to even try to challenge the menu. There are around six dishes which could be only ordered one time only. And for the fried rice, fried mee, and desserts, they were served as buffet line. Anyway, there are some pictures of the food we enjoyed that night.

Yummy Yummy @ Sai Toh Lim Restaurant

The last day of my Merdeka holiday, I went to this restaurant in Butterworth with my family for lunch. I actually thought that the food served is not that nice in terms of taste. However, there are still many people who frequent this restaurant, so just take my opinions at your own risk!

Roasted Pork.
It's served "cold" (Well, I thought they should have reheated it or something!!!) and it took years to reach our table!

"Stewed Chicken Legs" (Poor Translation, haha!)
The ordinary dish in ordinary taste. However, I don't really know how to "taste" it properly actually.

Vegetables in Oil
Nah...this is not the way this type of dish should be served! Sigh...

Fishball Soup
I don't really like fishballs...So, no comment on this.

Chicken Slices
The texture of the chicken is not smooth enough, however, the gravy is still ok.

Yummy Yummy @ Inderawasih Restaurant

When I was home for a short Merdeka holidays, I went for brunch with my family at this restaurant which is very near my house. The food there are quite nice.

Char Keow Teow.
The taste of this dish is average, it's not the best that I have eaten before.
Char Keow Teow

Sui Keow Soup.
This is nice. The filllings of the Sui Keow are some mixture of prawn meat and vegetables.
Sui Keow Soup

Herbal Mee Suah with Duck Drumstick.
Perhaps with some stronger herbal taste, it would be better. Overall, it's ok (in terms that I would like to taste it again the next time I come here).
Herbal Mee Suah with Duck Drumstick

Keow Teow Soup.
Well, the "rule" that it's only prepared when you ordered (including the soup) rules. The soup is nice, but maybe that's the effect of Arjinomoto!!! Haha... Recommended!

Home Sweet Home Series - the Tuna Sushis

My mom made me some sushis, when I was home for holiday last month.

That's the rice for making Sushis. The rice is cooked using Japanese rice and with vinegar added.

Spreading the ingredients on the seaweed - Carrot slices, Cucumber slices, Tuna spread and of course the rice!
